H.264 Video Compression – Maximize recording time and reduce file size. H.264 enables the transmission of higher-quality images at the same rate as MPEG4, but H.264 has a higher compression ratio than MPEG4, and can reduce bandwidth and storage usage, keeping file sizes small and manageable.

Built-in Bandwidth Throttle – Optimize bandwidth for remote viewing. The bandwidth throttle enables the DVR to use less bandwidth for remote viewing in low bandwidth environments. Bandwidth is reduced, but picture quality is lower to accommodate the reduction.

Schedule Recording – Record only at scheduled times. The DVR will record video on specific days and time ranges specified by the user. For example, you may set recording to occur between 9 am and 5 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
